About Ben

Ben is the Head of Herbert Smith Freehill’s eDiscovery practice in Australia. He specialises in the implementation of strategies throughout the data lifecycle and has led eDiscovery teams on major document management exercises, particularly in regulatory matters, class actions, and significant litigations. Before joining HSF, Ben worked for a decade as a court reporter in the High Court and the Court of Appeal in England and Wales, before moving to Australia in 2011 and embarking on a career in hospitality. Combining his legal and hospitality expertise has driven his competency and passion for accurate analysis and customer service excellence.
